4/20 came and went... not a lot of herb, but a great great story, that if enough of you ask, knahs will tell on the blog... lets just say it was on the level of Sa'wel rapping fail, not saying that was a bad song, but god damn some more shit please. His single was dope, and so is his song with the girl from paramore and Eminem, but talk about picking your singles wisely... not to hate (even though thats what i'm really doing according to kate, (by the way, who uses a name from lost as a nickname here...)FAIL) but it really holds no musical value. He is still probably going to sell a few hundred thousand, but as far as a freshman album goes...its truly not up too par (10 ATA points for getting that). As some of you may now , just recently I started to show appreciation for gucci mane's 1017 brick squad record label. I used to hate Gucci and artist alike with a passion! Up until i realized i'm not taking their music for what it's worth. Instead of listening to hip hop solely for the lyrical content and the song likeability factor, i've began a different method when it comes to certain artist. Taking the music for what it is, and that's good, funny gangsta rap over hard hitting instrumentals. Who does that better than so icey boys? I mean we can all argue that o.j da juiceman, waka flocka flame, and gucci mane aren't lyrical at all. Yet they do make great entertaining music in their own way. A way that can be seen different from the norm. Therefore it usually takes more time to appreciate and accept. With that being said I bring to you, the video Waka Flocka Flame made for the intro to his latest mixtape titled Lebron Flocka James 2(yea as you can tell his favorite player in the league is Lebron lol). So for just a moment take what you'd normally consider as good hip hop or rap music and put it to the side. Allow your ears to be subjected to this without a prejudice mind, and i'm sure you too will become a fan.

filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Nas had to immediately fork over $47,249.42 in back child support
and $40,454 in back spousal support.

The judge also ordered Nas to pay $10,000/month in spousal support until he pays off the $299,015.50 he owes Kelis.

Nas also has to pay 90% of Kelis' legal fees in the amount of $155,787.28.

Easily one of the greatest animated series ever IMO! Even with it only being 3 seasons deep (it's latest and said to be last one, due to premiere early May)The Boondocks has quickly but surely become one of the most prolific cartoons ever made. I can't fucking wait till the new season, because from a show that has never been scared to cross any boundaries you can expect alot of people and events to get made fun of. I just hope with the success of the new season, they feed into the people's demand and bring it back for more.
